My ‘Sakura’ Gifts from Spirit
Sakura refers to the iconic cherry blossoms of Japan. To the people of Japan, the delicate pink and white blossoms of Sakura symbolize the arrival of spring and life’s renewal. As I write these words I am on day 21 of my journey in Japan. Tomorrow I fly to London.
I had no idea when I arrived here on the 10th of March what lay ahead. I was invited to Japan by Mikasa Kuroiwa to teach and present, but my time here has turned out to be one of the key transformative experiences of my life, on a par with when I first began to channel in 1997.
I want to share my story, because my feeling is that if you too are experiencing physical pain and challenge, this may be part of the unravelling of an old, limiting, stuck part of you and the ushering in of a new and upgraded aspect.
I arrived on the 10th of March feeling fine, but soon after I arrived in Kyoto later that day my left arm locked up in pain and I could barely move it. Then I began to feel unwell throughout my body with a deep seated bone ache and exhaustion that just would not go away. My Kyoto temple visits were severely curtailed, because all I wanted to do was sleep and I visited A and E at the hospital and the acupuncturist instead. Some time on day five I had a vision of having my arm cut off by a Shōgun (Japanese military dictator) in a past life. I think that the emotions from that time probably surfaced as well.
I rallied a bit and went to some absolutely beautiful and sacred places with Mikasa, my Japanese host. It was fabulous, but I was still in severe pain and the continuous trauma of it all rather impacted me.
Then we came to Hiroshima. Some of you will know that years ago when I was regressed I experienced being a child in Japan, who had died in the bombing of Hiroshima. As many of you will know, past life recall can be very visceral. It can feel exactly the same as remembering a previous experience in this life. When I wrote Sunshine Before the Dawn I was right there as Eassayenya. I felt and saw everything.
So when I arrived in Hiroshima, I already felt that I knew this place and that I had lived a short distance beyond what is today known as the Hiroshima Peace Dome.
This is the preserved ruin of a building that survived the world’s first atomic bomb explosion above the city of Hiroshima on August 6 1945. It stands as a stark symbol of nuclear devastation and as a prayer for world peace. Over 140,000 people died in the bombing. I feel that I was one of them. The uncanny thing is that my birthday in this lifetime is August 6. Seven years after the bombing, I was born at 8:15am, very close to the time of the explosion on a sunny summer morning. I felt almost numb as I walked around the Peace Park and to the Miyuki Bridge, 2.2 km south east of the hypocentre, where many survivors, who were not killed instantly, had gathered.
I don’t feel that I was among them. I remember during my past life regression experience that I heard a droning sound in the sky and then everything went white. I entered a dark tunnel and emerged into a bright white light. A beautiful angelic being said ‘welcome home’.
The Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall was opened in 2002. It is a circular underground chamber with a 360 degree panorama of what it looked like in Hiroshima a few months after the bomb. There are 140,000 tiles representing the victims who died by the end of 1945, as a result of the bomb’s radiation. As I watched video testimonies from ‘hibakusha’, the Japanese name for the survivors of the blast, who told their personal stories of both loss and survival, my body began to spontaneously unravel the pain I was holding in my cellular memory. I learnt that when exposed to radiation the victims bones went black.
I began to understand why my bones had ached so badly for the past ten days, because of the radiation damage to my body’s morphogenetic field - the building blocks of the body that are translated into physical form in this lifetime. Therefore this trauma was still there in this morphogenetic field so when I revisited Hiroshima, all of that energy began to release.
As I emerged from the underground chamber I saw my first Sakura blossom since arriving in Japan. The pain in my body began to ease. From that time on I felt better and better. My final days in Tokyo have been a revelation.
The most momentous thing of all is the Sakura gifts that Spirit brought to me when I held my two day workshop over the past weekend. I have NEVER felt the energy like this. An entrenched sadness and pain in my heart has gone. I feel profoundly altered. I seem to be expanding out, out, and out into the Universe, and I look forward to taking you with me on this journey into our galactic and authentic selves.
I feel profoundly blessed and supported by all my loved ones from many dimensional worlds.
I wish to thank Mikasa Kuroiwa for inviting me to Japan and for her organisation of not only my travel to some very beautiful and special sacred places, but for holding me and my painful back on Miyujima Island, when I just couldn’t get up off the bed, or even turn over!
This is the island - no surprises here!

As I leave Japan, I know that I will be back - and probably soon. A more peaceful and pain free journey awaits, but I will be forever grateful for my Sakura gifts from Spirit, because I feel that a new spring time of greater beauty, love, joy and light in my own life has also begun.
